| Unknown | No2 Mk5 | Mini Flare 'Verey' Pistol | 1" | For sale from a private collection is this British Mollins No 2 Mk 5 1” flare ( or Very ) pistol. They were standard issue to the RAF and AFV’s in WWII. They have a distinctive lug on the left hand side of the barrel, which air crew used to lock the pistol into a locater fitted to the aircrafts fuselage so a flare could be discharged from within. The grips on this example are in first class condition, and the rest of the pistol are 9/10. These are becoming increasingly rare in live configuration. It comes with it’s original lanyard attached to the retracting lanyard loop, and is in full working order. | £110 |       |

This well cared for rifle is in superb condition, with only a few minor marks to the woodwork which are barely noticeable unless you look very closely. The blueing is excellent, with only a slight fade mark in front or the breech. The bore is clean & bright, and the barrel is threaded, currently having a muzzle brake fitted. It also retains the original rear sight with 100, 200 and 300 yard blades. An excellent rifle with true knock down power, it is also fitted with Sling eyes and swivels and a canvas & leather sling. 30mm QR scope mounts can also come with the rifle if needed. | £795 |         |
